Many Cambodian students are not interactive with friends and school environment, not even brave enough to stand up and answer questions. As used to be a teacher in Junior high school. I think that the negative psychological impact from the family leads them to this situation. The domestic violence, overwork, non-support and discouragement from parents, poverty. Students are not thinking healthily, smartly, differently and bravely. The secondary cause is from the school itself. Student centered can not be put into practice to the extent that can be satisfied-- lack of teaching material, commitment from their teachers. Students themselves are not easy to adopted since elementary school. And i see most of my colleagues don't give students the chance to think and do work on their own. This is the big problems.
The thing is that just let them do the best, express the opinions, ideas, innovative and creative ideas.

This is article provided lots of inside of the Japanese educates system. This system is particularly important for the contemporary society and the technology age. In Cambodia, our school system should expose kids to diversity and team work, and we should also provide kids the opportunity to interact as what the Japanese does.
